The Amazfit brand, which is also known for its affordable smartwatches, has introduced a new version of its popular GTS 2 Mini model. According to the GSMArena, it is cheaper and at the same time offers all the features of the previous version.

Waterproof and quality display

The body of the smartwatch is again made of aluminum alloy with a plastic back. Various silicone straps are also available. The watch without a strap weighs 19.5 grams and has a water resistance certification of 5 ATMs, thanks to which it also allows surface swimming. They will be available in three colors – Breeze Blue, Flamingo Pink, and Meteor Black.

On the front, the watch has a 1.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 306 x 354 pixels, a pixel density of 301 PPI, and a brightness of up to 450 nits. You can adjust the appearance of the time and date using 80 dials. The Always-On function of the display is also present. There is also a microphone on the body of the watch, which can be used to control the watch using Alex’s voice assistant.

More than 68 sports modes are pre-installed for athletes. They use the BioTracker 2 PPG optical heart rate sensor for their measurements, which also monitors blood oxygenation (SpO2). An accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, and a new GPS module for position recording are also a matter of course.

GTS 2 Mini watch

The 220 mAh battery offers up to 14 days of use on a single charge. It should be 7 days for more demanding use. The special mode, which deactivates most functions, will extend the endurance to 21 days. If it is completely discharged, you will then charge the battery to 100% in less than two hours.

The new Amazfit GTS 2 Mini watch will start selling in India on April 11 at a special price of 60 euros. Later, their price will be 72 euros. The manufacturer has not yet announced the price and availability on the global market.
